Social Media Manager

(paid intern position)

Alianza FC is a professional development soccer club in the heart of Southwest Detroit. The club is passionate about player development, equal opportunities, and community impact.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma

• Experience managing social media for business or events including content creation

• Willingness to work on site during evening and weekend hours

• Transportation

• Knowledge of and passion for the game of soccer (preferred)

• Bilingual - spanish speaking (preferred)

Responsible for:

• Managing all social media including Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook

• Supporting creation and ongoing development of high quality written and visual content

• Establishing best practices for schedule of posts on all platforms

• Growing and embedding promotional material for games and events

• Utilizing social media techniques to boost posts and attract followers

• Daily monitoring of activities and comment as appropriate

• Monitoring and reporting on key metrics for success’
